Der achtsame Tiger

In the organizer's words:

The tiger is dangerous? A really wild predator? So'n nonsense - this description finds the attentive tiger now but quite inappropriate. After all, he has his paws full to help his animal friends! He takes us into his colorful, mysterious world and shows us what a day in the life of a real tiger looks like: He explains to the little elephant what a cocomeloranganavokakizitrosine is. He reveals his very secret tiger trick to the boa, who is knotted up with stress. He helps the crocodile to finally become braver, relieves the exhausted parrot while it broods, hangs out with the sloth for a relaxed round and shows the tapir that you can also dance really well with short legs. Because at the end there's a happy jungle party, of course together with all friends. Roaaar!

For their latest production, musical directors Martin Lingnau and Heiko Wohlgemuth - probably the most successful authors of this genre in the German-speaking world - were inspired by a wonderful children's bestseller: With surprising ideas, a large portion of wordplay and a whole lot of music, they transform "The Mindful Tiger", the children's book of the year 2019 by Przemysaw Wechterowicz and Emilia Dziubak, into a turbulent musical fun in a magnificent setting that enchants young and old alike. The director is Carolin Spieß, who, in addition to "Christmas Bakery," has brilliantly directed numerous Schmidt children's productions such as "Der Räuber Hotzenplotz und die Mondrakete" and "Der kleine Störtebeker."

"Der achtsame Tiger" - a funny family musical with ten catchy songs, wonderful costumes and puppets and a tiger-strong message that comes along on quiet paws.
