For a special dancefloor-oriented edition as part of the Rhine-Main Dance Festival, we are delighted to welcome French musician and producer Cate Hortl to the Geheimer Salon. With cutting synthesizers, stoic beats and an echoing voice here and there, she reaches deep into the bag of tricks of electronic club music from the last 40 years. The result is a furious mixture of EBM, techno, dark pop and a pinch of Italo disco, which, despite all the references, doesn't come across as old-fashioned at all.
The DJ part will be taken over by MSKI, who has been playing her rough mix of acid, trance, ghetto tech and hard groove through the nights in the Rhine-Main area for some time now - and tonight, finally, through the Mousonturm venue too!
As always, admission is free.
