Around 1900, the Leipzig Palmengarten was a popular destination for day trips. With its restaurants and attractions, it drew thousands of visitors every day. What did the Palmengarten look like back then? Were there really palm trees there? Why

Bike racks:At the Capahaus or under the trees right at the meeting point (Note: The tour ends at the park exit onto Karl-Heine-Straße. Please avoid bringing bikes if possible.)
