Nadia Vergne is the daughter of Siegfried Emanuel and Ruth Mittelmann. For years, she has been campaigning for the publication and research of the photos of her family, whose life and work in Leipzig was otherwise destroyed under National Socialism. She learned German and researched many aspects of her family history herself, which she was unable to learn from her parents. Her main concern is to learn from the photo archive and its legacy and to make it accessible to the general public. In the guided tour, Nadia Vergne and Dr. Johanna Sänger take a closer look at the "treasure from the attic" and the history of the Mittelmann family.
