Heiko Schotte, known as Schotty, has plenty to say about his exciting job in Hamburg and the surrounding area. Mizzi Meyer wrote a Grimme Prize-winning NDR comedy series based on his story, which was adapted into 31 episodes across 7 seasons. In the episodes “Fleischfresser,” “Sind Sie sicher,” and “Schotty’s Struggle,” the endearing and astonishing crime scene cleaner is confronted with issues such as factory farming, psychological stress in the workplace, and neo-Nazi structures, using his typically laconic manner to navigate these bizarre situations.
