"Deutschlands letzte Wildnis" - Sven Meurs

Sven Meurs is a hunter - a picture hunter! - and portrays landscapes and wildlife. At the same time, he documents how Germany's nature is being increasingly constricted by man. Nevertheless, even endangered animal species sometimes manage to reclaim their territory. So what is the real state of our nature? What was the situation originally and what will the future bring? To find the answers, Sven travels throughout the country, to the mining areas of the east and the plains of the Lower Rhine in the west, and from the coasts of the North and Baltic Seas to the Alpine peaks in the far south. He photographs the beauty, fragility and uniqueness of our natural world with the patience of an angel and ingenious camouflage, taking magnificent pictures of rare animals such as kingfishers, grey seals, wolves and bison. He describes the experiences and results of his search with expert knowledge and a pinch of humor - an eye-opener that shows the unknown, wild face of Germany and provides tips for your own discoveries.
