Deutz feiert!

"Deutz celebrates!" is the Cologne district festival on the right bank of the Rhine. Numerous stands, a stage program and entertainment for the whole family attract visitors to the Schäl Sick for two days.

Over 120,000 visitors, including well over 15,000 children, are expected to attend the family and district festival in Deutz on August 1 and 2, 2026. According to the organizers, this makes "Deutz feiert!" the largest family and district festival in NRW during the summer vacations.

There is plenty on offer for guests on the Deutzer Freiheit festival mile and in the surrounding streets and squares. It starts on Saturday at 1 pm and on Sunday at 12 noon. While the adults get their money's worth at the colorful stalls and booths, there is fun and entertainment for the little ones with lots of free games.

Sunday open for business

Shopping fans can also look forward to Sunday shopping. The stores on Deutzer Freiheit will be open between 1 pm and 6 pm.
