Summer Festival at the Cologne-Ostheim Animal Shelter—come on by! 

On August 30, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., the doors and gates of our summer festival will open, and we cordially invite you to spend the day with us!

Look forward to a varied program for all ages, including:

• Guided tours of the shelter and a behind-the-scenes look at our facility
• A dedicated kids’ corner with a full entertainment program for our little guests
• Numerous information booths on the topic of animal welfare
• Vendor booths with all kinds of accessories for pets and people
• A dog groomer to give your four-legged friends a fresh new look
• A tattoo artist who’ll make sure you have a lasting memory of this wonderful day
• And, of course, lots of adorable dogs and cats just waiting to meet you!
