Featuring works from Viennese operetta and arias ranging from the Classical to the Romantic periods

The renowned Prague Festival Orchestra invites you to its traditional 2027 New Year’s Concert, presenting—against an enchanting backdrop—a dazzling array of the most beloved classical hits by composers such as Georges Bizet, Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, Jacques Offenbach, and Franz Lehár, as well as, of course, a rousing selection of the timeless melodies of Johann Strauss.

The multifaceted orchestra will be supported by outstanding soloists from the Prague Music Theater, with whom it will celebrate the most beautiful arias from a wide range of eras. In addition to grace and sophistication, humor will also play a prominent role this evening. The Prague Music Theater Ballet will set the stage ablaze with a dazzling display of dance, featuring varied choreography and impressive costume changes: by turns colorful and playful—and at other times elegant and light-footed.
