The great magician Ala Labama is in town—with sensational tricks, dazzling effects, and plenty of confidence. – But just as the show’s climax approaches—the legendary rabbit transformation trick—everything goes haywire: Instead of pulling a rabbit out of his top hat, Ala Labama accidentally transforms his loyal assistant into a real, rather cheeky rabbit! Chaos ensues. The magician, who had previously shamelessly exploited his assistant for his own purposes, now gets his comeuppance: The rabbit runs amok on stage, sabotages every magic trick, and drives the great magician to despair time and again. In the end, the master magician begins to reflect—he recognizes his arrogance, his selfishness, and his provocations. He shows remorse, becomes more approachable, and apologizes sincerely. Reconciliation follows, and much to the children’s delight, they perform one final magic trick together.

Founded in 2000 by actors Thomas Endel and Sebastian Matt, Coq au Vin has since been synonymous with guaranteed fun in children’s theater—where even the grown-ups get a good laugh.“The Great Magic Show of Ala Labama” and “The Furious Kitchen Circus” are true must-sees and already modern classics. You can really feel the actors’ own joy as they bring a successful and imaginative blend of theater and circus to the ring. Acrobatics and wit are just as much a part of the show as surprise effects and little tricks.

It always delights me to see that you bring such original ideas to life, first captivating the audience in a very humorous and unconventional way, and then suddenly surprising them. In any case, you’re giving the circus (if one can even call your genre that) a new look, and it suits it exceptionally well. Please keep it up and stay just as authentic!
