Over the past three decades, more than five million people on five continents have marveled at the mystical powers of the Shaolin monks in over 6,000 performances and countless TV shows. As part of their anniversary tour, the best monks, masters and shamis (students) from China's monasteries are finally coming back to Germany to present the high art of Kung Fu and Qi Gong!

The Shaolin monks are known worldwide for their dedication to the preservation of traditional Chinese culture and their impressive physical skills. On the occasion of their 30th anniversary, 19 of the best masters and shamis, led by their 75-year-old old master, will present their incredible physical skills in a two-hour show. Beyond the limits of physics, the Shaolin monks inspire with their outstanding mastery of Qi, their body energy, which they activate through targeted breathing techniques and special training. This makes the seemingly impossible possible: they smash stone slabs, wooden planks and iron bars on their bodies and heads, lie on spears, swords and nail boards, point spearheads safely at their throats and even throw sewing needles through glass plates. These amazing demonstrations not only showcase their extraordinary physical strength, but also illustrate the legendary control they have over their own bodies and the transformative power of qi that they have mastered.

Show producer Herbert Fechter, who has been presenting the original masters, students and monks from Shaolin with their unique physical exercises around the world since 1995, has put together a spectacular anniversary show that will amaze the audience. The show offers a fascinating insight into the mysterious world of the Shaolin monks and Zen Buddhism. It tells the story of the Shaolin Temple and presents captivating footage taken on the sacred Song Shan Mountain and in the original temple. It also provides insights into the training of the monks and follows in the footsteps of the Zen founder Bodhidharma.

It is not a circus performance, the monks are not actors, the exercises are not tricks; the show is a respectful attempt to convey a one-and-a-half-thousand-year-old tradition of mysterious knowledge to people outside China.
