The little word meadow

A literary experience around books, pictures and stories for children aged 5 to 8 years

The Little Word Meadow brings a breath of fresh air to the Mediapark and invites children and families to immerse themselves in the world of words, pictures and ideas from 2 pm. Whether listening, browsing or getting creative yourself - everything here revolves around storytelling, reading, writing and designing.

In the bookbike nrw, a mobile book wonder, you will find: 30 lovingly selected picture books, cozy cushions, creative hands-on activities, coloring blocks and a colorful clothesline full of figures and pictures that invite you to browse, read aloud and do it yourself.

At the comic station, you can create your very own comics from a wide variety of picture and word materials - whether analog or digital.

And in the text workshop - texts to go, small texts with a big impact are created: draw an inspiring word card and type your ideas on the typewriter or have a surprise text typed for you...

The speed portrait is fast, funny and creative: in just three minutes, you can create an imaginative portrait of your counterpart using ready-made eyes, noses, hairstyles and more.

And then there's the song station; give free rein to your language and find a rhythm that makes your lyrics vibrate!
