Books, pictures and stories with the LeseMonster Liesbert for children aged 4 to 8

Liesbert, the cuddly reading monster, has already traveled through many countries. One day he turned up at the LeseWelten door with exciting adventures in his luggage and a huge pile of books under his arm. Since then, he has been present at all reading sessions in daycare centers, schools, libraries and museums. Liesbert is constantly learning new stories and now knows very well which stories children enjoy.

Talking dragons, knitting cows, flying buns - the main thing is excitement! Liesbert knows the best adventure stories, the most fantastic tales and the most beautiful picture books. He brings his favorites to the reading session at the family festival at Sommer Köln. And then it's time to listen, watch, marvel and immerse yourself in the world of stories. Afterwards, all the children will have Liesbert pictures to color in as a souvenir.

LeseWelten is the reading aloud initiative of the Cologne Volunteer Agency.
With 170 dedicated volunteers, LeseWelten organizes reading sessions in institutions throughout Cologne, giving around 650 children a reading experience every week. Volunteer readers also organize the reading hour at Summer Cologne - together with the reading monster Liesbert.
