Die Küche meiner vietnamesischen Familie
In the organizer's words:
Cooking course in German
The cuisine of my Vietnamese family
Vietnamese everyday cooking
with Mai Thy Hinz
Whenever possible, families in Vietnam eat together at least three times a day. The mothers or grandmothers usually cook three to four different dishes. It is important that there is always a large pot of rice. The dishes are easy to cook, varied and balanced. There is actually no better opportunity to get to know Vietnamese culture better than at a Vietnamese family meal.
Menu:
- Heo chiên sả ớt: fried pork steak with lemongrass
- Gà kho gừng: caramelized chicken with ginger
- Rau muống xào tỏi: fried water spinach (seasonal)
- Rau xào thập cẩm: wok-fried vegetables
- Canh chua: sweet and sour soup with prawns
- Avocado matcha ice cream
- Jasmine rice
Mai Thy Hinz
Hi, my name is Mai Thy. I was practically born with a passion for cooking, as I come from a family of chefs in the heart of Saigon. For me, food is much more than just enjoyment - it's my love language.
Since 2015, I have been sharing my enthusiasm in cooking classes, combining two things that are particularly close to my heart: excellent food and health. My greatest strength is bringing people together through cooking and creating an atmosphere where everyone feels welcome.
In my courses, you can expect more than just recipes. We laugh, cook and enjoy together. My goal is achieved when my motto comes true:"After the course, everyone goes home full and happy."
You can find me on my website or for daily inspiration on Instagram. I look forward to seeing you!
