From the solo beginnings of bassist and singer Johannes Rest, Digitial Carbs has developed into an insider tip in the Münschner alt-rock scene. Their debut album Are We Taking It Slowly, released in 2022, recently reached the milestone of over 150,000 streams on Spotify. Digital Carbs are part of the Munich-based indie label Schaufel & Besen Records.

With Oh Hedonism, Digital Carbs present their most versatile work to date in fall 2025. The album combines surreal imagery, social criticism and hypnotic song structures to create a maelstrom that oscillates between intimacy and loss of control. Oh Hedonism is raw, haunting and above all one thing: unmistakably Digital Carbs.

Following the release of their new album, the band embarked on their second European tour: together with the Berlin band Atomic Fruit, Digital Carbs played stages in Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic and Denmark. With their emotional and energetic shows, they inspire an ever-growing audience.
