Digital philosopher Sabria David invites you to a conversation and opens her treasure chest of stories, reflections on the past and visions of the future, texts, and thoughts. The discussion will cover the sound of typing and punch cards, handwriting, steam engines, and fairy tales—as well as that cursed yet beloved cell phone.

Together, in a series of philosophical conversations, we’ll explore how we can remain human in a world of change—full of devices and chatbots, caught between paper and pixels. A salon for storytelling, remembering, and daydreaming—for reflection and participation.

About Sabria David: The digital philosopher, media researcher, and author teaches “Digital Transformation and Ethics” at Karlshochschule in Karlsruhe. She conducts research and provides consulting on the impacts and potential of digital transformation on society, media, and work. She is the long-standing vice president of Wikimedia Germany and founder of the Slow Media Institute.
