The Growlers Choir, consisting exclusively of metal singers, the so-called "growlers", combines metal and experimental music in a unique and revolutionary way. The 13-member choir was founded in 2016 in Montreal, Canada, one of the world capitals of metal music, by composer Pierre-Luc Senécal. What was a distant dream for many metalheads became a reality in May 2019, when the group gave its first public performance. Their legendary debut piece "The Dayking" triggered a wave of enthusiastic reviews: "masterfully arranged", "extraordinary", "a ritual that summons demons from another dimension", "a descent into unleashed chaos".
