Duisburg Destruction

On October 24, 2026, Duisburg Destruction enters its next round—and at the Parkhaus Duisburg, three bands will come together, each representing different facets of modern underground metal.

From death/thrash to alternative metal and metalcore: Paranoiac, Sattmar, and Crown of Carcosa will deliver an evening of aggressive riffs, powerful grooves, breakdowns, and plenty of live energy.

Paranoiac from Herford blends thrash, groove, and death metal into an uncompromising sound featuring heavy riffs, deep vocals, and a powerful rhythm section. Added to this are melodic elements that provide a distinctive sound amidst all the heaviness.

Live, the band is all about intensity, speed, and raw energy—exactly the right stuff for anyone who prefers to experience their metal in front of the stage rather than from the couch.

Sattmar from Rhineland-Palatinate navigate the space between alternative metal and influences from progressive, groove, and metalcore. Powerful guitars, melodic passages, and modern intensity come together to create a sound that defies easy categorization.

With their EP “Not Alone” and songs like “Sleepless” and “Not Mine,” the band demonstrates that heaviness and melody work well together.

Crown of Carcosa from Bocholt bring metalcore to the stage with brutal breakdowns, aggressive vocals, and a healthy dose of dark atmosphere.

Since their first live shows, the band has consistently made its way through the underground scene and continued to refine their sound with releases like the EP “Dawn Of Extinction” as well as songs such as “Crown Of Madness,” “Chainsaw,” and “Kingdom In My Head,” released in 2026.
