Naomi Binder was born in Vienna and received her first violin lessons at the age of three with Kunihiko Kurosaki in Vienna. She continued her education with Takeshi Yamamoto in Japan, and later at the Vienna Academy of Music with Prof. Günther Pichler and Prof. Klaus Maetzl.
With her Prisma Quartet she deepened her knowledge of chamber music with Prof. Walter Levin (La Salle Quartet) and Prof. Rainer Schmidt (Hagen Quartet) in Basel.
Guest musician in renowned orchestras, such as WDR Sinfonieorchester, as well as concertmaster with Ensemble Ruhr, RTO, Big Noise Orchestra and others.
As a musical "chameleon" she is at home in the entire spectrum from baroque to new music as well as jazz and pop and is a welcome guest in chamber music projects as well as theater and "cross-over" productions on large stages.
Naomi Binder lives as a freelance artist in Cologne.
The Göttingen-born musician is one of the most promising guitarists of his generation. During his studies in Cologne and Paris, he received numerous national and international awards, including the audience prize at the Concours de Guitar en Duo in Montélimar, first prize in the Wuppertal Music Competition and the Premio special giurio at the Concorso Mauro Giuliani, Bari/Italy. His teachers include Professor Ulrich Müller (Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences), Professor Ansgar Krause (Cologne University of Music) and Maestro Alberto Ponce (Conservatoire de Paris). In 2006 the debut CD of his guitar duo with Martin Hegel was released, which was highly praised by the experts. Since 2008 Fabian Spindler has been working intensively with Wulfin Lieske. In 2010 the first joint CD is released on Challenge Classics - with works by Isaac Albeniz. The duo is awarded a "Gramophone Editors Choice" for these productions. In October 2011 the second recording of the duo is released - with a modern program: Astor Piazzolla, Wulfin Lieske, Charles Mingus.
