FLUX feat. Eva Pöpplein

Florian Stadler on accordion and Christina Fuchs on soprano saxophone/clarinet form a duo that aims to redefine the boundaries of improvised music and create fascinating worlds of sound. Their music is a symbiosis of depth and interaction, organic and intuitive. They interweave common musical ideas, leave room for silence and sudden outbursts, and seem to be connected by an invisible bond.

Now they invite Eva Pöpplein to join them in their sound research.

As an electronic musician, she plays numerous concerts, is a permanent member of the line-up of the big band Fuchsthone Orchestra and remixes ensembles and solo artists.

Since 2002, she has released over 50 works together with electric bassist and radio author Janko Hanushevsky in the sound art duo Merzouga . As a duo, they produce sound compositions and installations, radio plays and radio features, play and compose music for radio, film and theater. Sound installations at the Humboldt Forum Berlin, Alte Pinakothek Munich, Museum Schnütgen Cologne and Museum Morsbroich, among others. World premieres at the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, Deutschlandfunk Kammermusiksaal, Deutsche Oper am Rhein, HAU Berlin, Volkstheater Munich.
