Duran Duran

Duran Duran are coming to the LANXESS arena on Thursday, October 8, 2026. After the British pop icons celebrated their return to German stages last year, fans can now look forward to a concert experience in Cologne-Deutz that combines four decades of pop history with timeless energy.

Since their formation in 1978 in Birmingham, England, Duran Duran have been one of the most influential bands in international pop and rock music. With over 100 million records sold worldwide, numerous chart hits and a career that has influenced generations of artists. In 2022, the group was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame - a tribute to their lasting influence on pop culture.

Led by charismatic singer Simon Le Bon and featuring Nick Rhodes, John Taylor and Roger Taylor, the band has stood for a unique combination of music, style and visual creativity for decades. Classics such as "Hungry Like the Wolf", "Rio", "Ordinary World", "The Wild Boys", "The Reflex" and "Come Undone" have long been part of pop history - and continue to be among the highlights of their live shows.

Their more recent material also provides fresh impetus: the critically acclaimed album Future Past was followed by their 16th studio album Danse Macabre in 2023 - an eclectic mix of new songs, surprising reinterpretations and stylish cover versions.
