Multi-award-winning Canadian artist Daniel Caesar has announced further dates for Europe and the UK ahead of the Asian leg of his 2026 headlining tour. As part of his first international headlining arena tour, he will present his new album "Son Of Spergy" and also make a stop in Germany: On September 11, 2026, Daniel Caesar will play a Germany-exclusive show at the LANXESS arena in Cologne-Deutz.

Daniel Caesar celebrated several milestones just last month. These awards include RIAA certifications for his debut album "Freudian", which is now 2-times platinum, as well as for the songs "Get You" (7-times platinum), "Best Part feat. H.E.R." (7-times platinum) and "Japanese Denim" (3-times platinum). He also received platinum certifications for the tracks "We Find Love", "Loose", "Streetcar", "Hold Me Down", "Blessed", "CYANIDE", "LOVE AGAIN", "Who Hurt You?" as well as gold and platinum certifications for "Superpowers" and "Always". There were also gold certifications for his albums "NEVER ENOUGH" (2023) and "CASE STUDY 01" (2019) as well as for the songs "Take Me Away feat. Syd", "Transform feat. Charlotte Day Wilson" and his single "Violet" from 2014. These successes came shortly after the 2026 JUNOs, where he received the International Achievement Award, performed his "Son Of Spergy" hit "Who Knows" and took home the JUNO awards for Best Contemporary R&B Recording of the Year and Songwriter of the Year.

To kick off 2026, he performed a rare, second Tiny Desk Concert and joined Mustafa, Alex G, Blood Orange, Rex Orange County, Jazmine Sullivan, Geese, Ravyn Lenae and many others at the Artists for Aid benefit concert hosted by Bella Hadid and Pedro Pascal in Los Angeles, which raised $5.5 million for aid organizations in Sudan and Palestine. Last fall, Daniel Caesar released his latest album "Son Of Spergy", which debuted at #4 on the Billboard 200 and #1 on the Billboard R&B album chart - his highest-charting work to date and his first top 10 album. Shortly after its release, he appeared on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" and performed the album track "Who Knows", a smash streaming hit.

"Son Of Spergy" is the follow-up to his album "NEVER ENOUGH", which made it into the top 15 of the Billboard 200, and includes the previously released singles "Have A Baby (With Me)", "Call On Me" and "Moon", among others, all of which provide insights into the album's central theme: Reconciliation, particularly with his father. From the rousing "Root Of All Evil" to the Bon Iver-assisted "Moon", Caesar engages in self-reflection on the album in search of purer, healthier relationships.

"Son Of Spergy" was first announced with a video letter on social media and featured in Daniel's Billboard cover story. In a conversation with Tyler, The Creator for Billboard, the two discuss Daniel Caesar's career to date, their creative collaboration (especially in light of Daniel's extensive involvement on Tyler's 2024 album "CHROMAKOPIA"), what fans can expect from "Son Of Spergy" and more. In early 2025, Daniel Caesar teamed up with close friend and collaborator Rex Orange County for a special two-track bundle called "Rearrange My World / There's A Field (That's Only Yours)". He was also featured on "The Field" from Blood Orange's new album "Essex Honey", alongside Caroline Polachek, Tariq Al-Sabir and The Durutti Column. He also worked as a songwriter, backing vocalist and producer on "DEVOTION" with Dijon on Justin Bieber's GRAMMY-nominated album "SWAG".
