In to the Sun is an evening of dance inspired by King Louis XIV and Jean-Baptiste Lully, combining baroque court music with the psychedelic sounds of the 1960s. A large orange carpet abstractly reflects the sun, while a specially designed lighting construction depicts both scorching heat and soothing warmth. The choreography moves between sensual lightness and extreme intensity and reflects the dual nature of the sun - both a giver of life and a destructive force.
