Five parcel couriers, a tough job and a rather fixed male image: Frank, George, Sam, Paul and Manuel toil daily in the Canadian Parcel Service warehouse. Here they work hard, joke, argue - and above all cultivate a lot of masculinity. Feelings? Weakness? Not a thing. Or are they?

When their boss's little daughter falls seriously ill and urgently needs an operation, the colleagues are suddenly faced with a problem: the necessary money cannot be found. But then Manuel has an idea that is as ingenious as it is daring: a travesty show - with themselves as the stars!

What follows is a hilarious balancing act between pumps and parcel boxes, between prejudices, self-doubt and new-found courage. While wigs are adjusted, songs rehearsed and boundaries crossed, the troupe grows closer together than ever before!

"Echte Männer!" is a warm-hearted, fast-paced comedy about friendship, solidarity and the courage to jump over one's own shadow - funny, touching and with plenty of heart. And after an equally rocky and grueling journey, the whole thing culminates in a rousing musical travesty show!
