In 2026, the Edelweiss Pirates Festival will take place for the 22nd time. Twenty-five bands will perform on five stages, transforming the Friedenspark in Cologne’s Südstadt into a living memorial to the Edelweiss Pirates and other nonconformist youths who gathered in parks and forests to sing their own songs and resist the Nazi regime.
