Einladung zur Atemmeditation
In the organizer's words:
This breathing meditation is simple and can be learned by anyone. At its core, it’s simply a matter of letting your breath come and go as it pleases, while observing it with acceptance. Deliberate control or effort can be counterproductive here. If, on the other hand, you manage to adopt a passive attitude and let your breath flow freely, you’ll feel the soothing effects of this meditation: you’ll breathe more slowly and calmly, your blood pressure will normalize, and your muscles will relax. Overall, the meditation has a calming effect on both body and mind. Practiced regularly, it can improve sleep and help you step off the merry-go-round of thoughts. In this course, exercises from Prof. Ilse Middendorf’s breathing therapy will be used both to prepare for the meditation and afterward to help you settle back into a state of calm.
Please bring: comfortable, loose-fitting clothing, warm socks, and a blanket.
