Europe's last fascist dictator died in 1975: Francisco Franco. His death paved the way for a rebellious youth in Spain that had a lot of catching up to do. Counterculture, labor struggles, feminism, sexual liberation... The historic, anarcho-syndicalist trade union CNT seemed to be a suitable framework for this and experienced a renaissance. It organized meetings with hundreds of thousands of participants, Libertarian Days, strikes and resistance. For a brief historical moment, anything seemed possible...
