Totenhagen and Rumpeln present an improvised noise art duo set from Cologne and Munich. Screeching engines, hammering machines and humorous horror movie vocals collide and unleash a world reminiscent of explosive sprints, nocturnal chases and occult coven rituals.

The concert is part of Laura Totenhagen's RAW project, which was launched in November 2024 and presents five top-class duo constellations - including Rumpeln. In April, they played concerts in Beijing and Shanghai and released their joint album "Storm of the Microbats" in July with cover artwork by Chinese performance artist Qian Geng, who also expresses himself in the visual arts alongside his live calligraphy.

After the concert, the stage will become an open electronic jam session: everyone is invited to bring their own modular synths, effects devices or DIY instruments and take part in a collective improvisation. DJ decks will also be available - bring your noise and plug in.

NEW: Visual artists are also invited to spontaneously connect their laptops to our projector at the jam.
