Since 2019, the collective ELM STREET 42 has established itself as a reliable part of the clubbing scene in Hamburg and Berlin at the interface of music and visual art. For the takeover at the summer festival, ELM STREET 42 has invited Parisian producer and DJ Von Riu, who co-founded the influential label Jerry Horny and now runs his solo imprint glo.bal. His sound is a fusion of progressive house, 2000s trance and club-oriented bass music, seamlessly interwoven with fine breakbeat elements and subtle hints of psy-textures. This combination has earned him appearances in intimate venues as well as on the major festival stages of Europe, Asia and South America. The evening will be accompanied by the ELM STREET 42 Soundsystem and the renowned residents: DJ SOURCE, onlylu, Yamagucci42, Daschkey, KVLR and UNZHA, who together cover a diverse musical spectrum from breaks to electronic and techno.
