In the organizer's words:
emotional surrender - come as you are
"surrendering to your emotions" means allowing all feelings, not suppressing any emotions and being completely yourself, regardless of your own expectations. The exhibition deals with the process behind this, the hiding, the deformation and the attempts to break out of the masquerade. While four young artists from Cologne present their interpretations of the theme in painting and photography, the focus is not only on the artworks, but also on the electronic music, which is intended to stimulate reflection and lead into the process of emotional surrender. In the basement of KunstWerk e.V., a space for exchange will be created in which we invite you to discover the interface between art and music while enjoying sounds, art and drinks.
