THINKING OF PEACE

Vocal and instrumental chamber music, full of determination for peace. The program includes the world premiere by American composer Kent Gabler for voice, viola and piano to poems written especially for this event by Munich artist Sabine Jörg. Furthermore, a percussion solo by the American Frederic Rzewski, instrumental and vocal chamber music in various instrumentations by Maurice Ravel, Ernst Fuchs, Clara
Schumann, Johannes Brahms, Sergei Rachmaninov and the highly topical appeal for peace "Voices of Women in Wartime" by composer Gloria Coates (1933-2023).
