The cello master classes culminate in a concert whose program takes shape only as the participants work together.

In public master classes, young musicians have gained new perspectives, questioned interpretations, and worked on developing their own artistic voices. “Discoveries” brings selected results of this intensive process to the stage of the Carl Bechstein Hall.

Precisely because the works and lineups are only finalized at the last minute, the evening retains a special charm: it responds directly to what has emerged during the master classes. The audience experiences young talents at a moment of new beginnings—focused, curious, and ready to take risks.
