Opening of the group exhibition "In the air"

The exhibition explores the motif of the flying animal as a symbolic resonance space between observation of nature and social analysis. The focus is not on the depiction of the birds themselves, but on their function as a projection screen for questions of power, care, violence and coexistence. The exhibited works in the media of video, sculpture, photography and installation address, among other things, animal husbandry, ecological dependencies, social rituals and mechanisms of control and appropriation.

The exhibition brings together ten artistic positions:
