Look forward to: a 50-day trip through Alaska, where it’s not just the snow-capped mountains that sparkle. A bike tour to the highest peaks in every Swiss canton, where each ascent is sweetened with a traditional Swiss pastry. Also on the program: figure skating in Canada; speedriding in Switzerland; a climber who fights her way back to the rock face after a fall; and an inventor whose ideas have revolutionized the design of packrafts.
