EXDIRECTORY | Album Release Show

Exdirectory is a young, five-piece rock band from Cologne. Musically, they move somewhere between psychedelic rock and stoner rock, with excursions into progressive rock and jazz rock thrown in for good measure. They are always looking to explore new soundscapes - soundscapes that range from the sounds of the 60s and 70s to modern neo-psychedelia. After the release of two EPs, the first LP will now be released on March 8, 2024, which is about a mystical and confused dream journey that deals with existential human questions, needs and fears. Musically, listeners can expect a range between dense, interwoven sounds with lush guitars, organ and synthesizer, playful solos, but also calm and atmospheric songs reminiscent of dream pop or krautrock. A must for fans of bands such as Motorpsycho, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, All Them Witches or Colour Haze.

The release of the album will be celebrated with an exclusive release concert on March 9th at Club Subway in Cologne, where the album will be played live in full length for the first time.

HOLOCENE is an alternative acoustic act from Cologne, founded in 2016. Melancholic and atmospheric soundscapes meet catchy melodies with an experimental approach. Paired with intelligent arrangements, sound is an important factor in almost every song.
HOLOCENE tells stories about normal everyday emotional chaos. Self-doubt and world-weariness - meets hope and positive feelings. Sometimes there's nothing better than just being alone, and just when you think all is lost, a single song can be your best friend in the world.
