F-Festival (F for *uck the Patriarchy)

The F-Festival breaks through the patriarchal narrative of theater making and creates space for feminist voices. From March 1 to 10, 2024 , we want to give the stage to female-read artists and at the same time create a space for the audience and the FLINTA* community to network. The F-Festival is taking place for the second time at Ballhaus Prinzenallee.

We are delighted to welcome internationally renowned artists and collectives from different backgrounds such as BGST Tiyatro & Theater Tri-bühne, Emma Petersen & Elli Treptow, Kollektiv Barnay, Tiyatro Berlin, ABA NAIA - Performing arts collektiv, Maiimouna Coulibaly, Laura Stoke, Duygu Agal, Theater Kompanie Berlin and THEATRE HAYAL PERDESI. They will present their works and working methods, focusing on the themes of legislation, sexuality, anger, the body and trauma processing.

This year, there is a special focus on productions and artists from Turkey to create a space that acts as a sound amplifier into the Turkish community.

The main aim of the festival is to inspire the audience and involve them in the relevant discourses.
