Faetooth are one of the most exciting new voices in the modern doom and alternative metal scene. The trio from Los Angeles combines heavy, sluggish riffs with dreamy melodies and atmospheric soundscapes - a sound that is both oppressive and hypnotic at the same time.
Their music moves between doom, shoegaze and grunge and thrives on strong dynamics: massive walls of guitars meet fragile moments, while the band's haunting vocals unfold an intense emotional depth. Faetooth themselves describe their style tongue-in-cheek as "fairy doom" - a mixture of heaviness, melancholy and ethereal beauty.
Live, Faetooth develop a dense, immersive atmosphere in which heavy riffs and floating soundscapes combine to create an impressive overall experience.
After their sold-out show in Bochum, they are now coming back to Cologne!
