For over ten years now, the Ring Trio led by Demian Kappenstein (ÄTNA, Supervised Singing), Felix-Ottoo Jacobi and Eren Solak has managed to inspire visitors and listeners anew every time they perform their monthly workshop concert. Always new, always different - be it poetry, big pop or jazz music: as a well-established series, the trio welcomes different artists to bring something new and unique to the stage together with them, full of the joy of experimentation.

Feature Ring is an exciting first encounter. The artists meet the day before the concert, research, jam and work on the repertoire: spontaneous, raw and risk-taking!

Spilif

Betina Filips aka Spilif is no stranger to depth. Ring Trio bassist Felix saw her in concert on the tour for her new album "Elouise" and was stunned. The power of words and speed of reaction, the double entendres, the wit, the rhythm! Just wow! It goes without saying that award nominations such as the Amadeus (Betina comes from Austria) and the German Record Critics' Award are also vying for Spilif! In the FEATURE RING, we will hear the award-winning tracks from "Elouise" as well as ad hoc jams that depend entirely on your mood in the room.

Insbruck rapper Spilif discovered her love of the spoken and written word back in her German lessons. For over ten years now, the Austrian has been continuously writing her philosophical, conciliatory, self-critical, socially critical and love-transporting lyrics. She has been presenting these as a rapper on various festival and club stages since 2018. Together with her DJ and beat producer Rudi Montaire, she has already played over 100 shows and opened concert evenings for Jeru the Damaja, Lord Finesse, Goldroger, MC Rene, Johnny Rakete and many more. As a further artistic step, friends and musicians were brought together for the debut album in 2022 and an unmistakable, idiosyncratic hip-hop band sound developed around the word acrobat. Spilif celebrated her live debut with a band in front of a full house at the Reeperbahn Festival 2022. Her second album "Elouise" was released in fall 2025.
