Georgian-born double bass player Giorgi Kiknadze from Hamburg has teamed up with singer Anna Zucker and writer Hannes Franzke for a feel.jazz premiere: free musical improvisation meets poetry.

21:00 - 22:00: SO SORRY
SO SORRY is by no means an apology, but a FLINTA* band from Berlin and, more importantly, a feminist appeal: Social criticism, feminisms and queerness should be danced and sung and make empowerment, warm embraces and identifications musically infinite. Her voice is an important statement in the male-dominated and socialized jazz, funk & fusion world. Anyone who is still convinced that female socialized music can only be sung and played in ballads is cordially and euphorically invited to be convinced by the opposite and energetic, courageous rhythms.

22:00 - 23:00: Dunya
The Hamburg quintet Dunya (Turkish for "world") explores elementary questions in its artistic process: How does history influence us? And what do we need to do right now so that we can continue to live well together in the future? Her songs oscillate poetically between Turkish, German and English, which allows for constant changes of perspective that are extremely challenging. These lead from pure understanding to a stimulating mysteriousness, allow time and existence to swing beyond stress and usability and are embedded in a complex and at the same time engaging sound between psychedelic rock and dream pop, oriental flow and herbaceous noise.

Did Billie Eilish study jazz? Hardly, because then she would be much more successful! The Hamburg Art Ensemble will break the world record as the most successful band once and for all on the feel.jazz stage and unite the introspective sounds of the pop icon with the open cosmos of jazz in their innovative new interpretations.

These initially inconspicuous, incredible mountain lion lords sneak up on you silently as if unseen, until they finally escape their hiding place with a mighty leap and give you a beat-filled paw-slap on the ears. Because 'Lord Of The Amazing Panther' are something like steroid cougars, a real insider tip supergroup straight outta Berlin. Each member is a monster in their own right and together they are probably the hottest groove package in the capital. They play with unconditional dedication to beats, improvisation and always with precise sound fetishism. The Panther jumps far and always unpredictably, making light-footed use of the most diverse influences and playing a highly independent musical cosmos absolutely unmistakably and uncompromisingly to the point.

The feel.jazz festival invites you to dance: our official after-show party under the auspicious title after.glow. After the final chord of the band program has been played, we hand over the scepter of the night to Scatch Crusader and Melody Nelson. They have brought us a special selection of jazz, funk and fusion from their record collection, which has been delicately selected over decades.

23:00 - 04:00: Scratch Crusader & Melody Nelson

Scatch Crusader and Melody Nelson have been passing the ball to each other for more than 10 years: musical spontaneous ping-pong ... back to back ... in the infinite expanses of vinyl. Joint appearances in clubs and at festivals have taken them all over Europe - in Hamburg they have been behind the JazzLab turntables several times and at the feel.jazz Festival in 2019 and 2024. We look forward to seeing them again soon and their record crates full of kick-ass jazz, soulful funky disco extravaganza and brazilian latin fusion goodies.

Teresa Raff opens up her own universe of sound with her harp. With the 47 strings and her voice, she creates a field of tension between velvety sounds and vibrating power. Always in search of a moment of bittersweet magic, she combines classical, minimal and pop music.

21:00 - 22:00: howtokope

The Hamburg-based band effortlessly combines electronic, psychedelic and groove-based music. They seamlessly combine inspirations from artists such as Khruangbin, J Dilla and Radiohead while creating their very own sound howtokope. focuses on the atmosphere of a song. The band's concept is focused on groove and clarity, with a minimalist sound being a particular hallmark. But they also enjoy discovering details, the fragments of a song or the finishing touches in post-production. howtokope. challenges genre conventions while remaining true to themselves and the music they love. On this evening, B.elle will be featured, adding her soul and trap influences to the band's sound.

Samuel Wootton is a percussionist, composer and producer. He is inspired by jazz, world music and beat-oriented music, unconditionally unbiased, keen to experiment and always in search of music that touches him emotionally. He finds what he is looking for in the Dadaist music of Tom Zé as well as Kae Tempest or Tom Waits, and his own music has depth, humor and impressive instrumental variety. It tells stories and creates unique moods with pulsating rhythms and intimate melodies. With his newly released debut album "Allsorts", he is now presenting himself as a producer for the first time. He performs his music live with a top-class band "Samuel Wootton's Allsorts". He offers the performers a playground for improvisation and creates an interface between composed music, improvised music and spoken word.

ROCKET MEN take you on a musical journey through the universe. The five musicians are at home in the jazz and pop scenes of Hamburg, Berlin and Leipzig respectively - and fuse the best of both worlds in their unique fusion. Cinematic synthesizer sounds meet rocking drum grooves and the uninhibitedly driving brass lines of trumpet and saxophone. The five astronauts call their self-created genre "Drum and Space". It could contain dub, brass band rhythms and jazz improvisations, plus lush techno beats. This journey into space will not be without violent vibrations.

Live Melodic Vocal Techno Band - This is MONOKROM, founded by four friends from Berlin and Hamburg, who unite their love for live and electronic music. Influenced by the sounds of the club scene, they play techno and breakbeat in a live setting. They strive to fulfill the role of a DJ by presenting their own songs in live electronic sets that get the audience dancing and in a trance-like state. At the same time, they enjoy the freedom and spontaneity of being in a band, which is appreciated by the audience.

A musical trip into the Bizzarro Universe takes us on a diverse spectrum from indie dance and neo Italo disco to EBM, dark disco and trance. They skillfully blend retro nostalgia with a modern touch. With electrifying sets and productions characterized by rolling basslines and shrill synths, they have catapulted themselves to the top of the German neo Italo scene.
