With the FEMALE PRESENCE exhibition, we are opening up a space in which art can be loud, colorful and shrill in order to challenge norms and celebrate diversity. The exhibition brings together female artists who, through experimental and unfiltered expression, turn color, form and sound into a living narrative. The works encourage you to confidently take up space and become visible, heard and recognized.
Let yourself be inspired, irritated and surprised. Because here, art can be anything: loud, quiet, provocative, gentle - and above all: yourself.
Marina Arsangerieva is a visual artist and actress. She has been living out her passion for the performing and visual arts since childhood. Her creative quest took her from Ukraine to Germany in 2010, where she celebrated her first exhibitions as an artist and her first successes as an actress on stage.
Ronja Kreutzer is a freelance filmmaker, photographer and author. She began making her own films at the age of 13. After graduating from high school, she set up her own business and has been producing documentaries and feature films ever since; her debut film "Incompatible" premiered at the Hof International Film Festival in 2019. Since 2020, she has also specialized in portrait photography and curated the exhibition "unsichtb:ART" in 2024, which deals with the mental health of young people. The 27-year-old continues to successfully pursue her passion for art by realizing film and photo projects, performing her texts on stage and engaging in social work. She lives in Cologne.

HIHEME (formerly known as Donia Touglo) combines neo-soul, afro-fusion, jazz-pop and electronic-pop with afro-futuristic inspired visuals, creating a holistic artistic style that reaches far beyond the musical level. The Cologne-based cosmopolitan is known for her versatile and unique blend of music. The artist has already conquered numerous stages nationally and internationally - all with her refreshing "universal fun jam" style. Hits such as "Ginga Tea" or "Walla Billa" from her particularly colorful debut album "Game Changer" continue to thrill the world of Radio Cosmo and 1Live fans. She has also performed on the "Carolin Kebekus Show" and at the Popkultur Festival in Berlin. So it's no wonder that she took home the prestigious popNRW Award for "Best Newcomer" in 2021.
