In the organizer's words:

Almond Biscuits and Red Earth (25 min.) is a documentary about the encounter with Doña Quiteria, Servilia and their companions, women from Garafía, a rural area of the Canary Island of La Palma, who have spent their entire lives cultivating this land with much love.

The camera witnesses their poetry and joy as they bake cookies in an oven house full of stories. The women take us on a journey into the past to an oven hidden in the ravines and tell us how life on the land has changed over the years.

The film is accompanied by a booklet with stories of the encounters the artists had during their stay, as well as some Super8 films developed with natural materials harvested there.

Almendrados y Tierra Roja (25 mins) es un documental sobre el encuentro con Doña Quiteria, Servilia y sus compañeras, mujeres de Garafía, zona rural de la isla canaria La Palma. Ellas llevan toda una vida viviendo y trabajando esta tierra con mucho cariño.

La cámara se convierte en testigo de su poesía y alegría al hornear galletas en una casa horno llena de historias. Las mujeres nos llevan por un viaje en el tiempo a un horno escondido en los barrancos y comparten cómo ha cambiado la vida en el campo con el paso de los años.

La película va acompañada de un librito con historias de los encuentros que las artistas tuvieron durante su estancia y unos cortos de Super8 revelados con materiales naturales cosechadas en el campo.
