If you want to get a taste of the world of flamenco dance and immerse yourself in this explosive expressive dance, you've come to the right place. This character dance promotes stage presence, coordination, musicality and develops strength for body and soul.
In this workshop we deal with body percussion to musical and rhythmic sequences, exercises for graceful posture, technique for elegant hand and arm movements, short dance combinations and free expressive dance.
The workshops consist of so-called "patrones" (movement patterns) that originate from traditional flamenco and are practiced. Through improvisational tasks within Katerina's choreographic work, individual movement qualities and phrases are tested in a musical contemporary flamenco piece.
The workshop is designed for all levels of experience.
