FLINTA* Open Stage

This Thursday, our stage will once again be dedicated exclusively to FLINTA* people: women, lesbians, inter, non-binary, trans, and agender people. After the last few times, one thing is clear: We want more of this! More experimentation, more playing together, more courage, more volume, more space for everything that can emerge when FLINTA* people aren’t on the sidelines but are taking up the space. This evening is for anyone who feels like picking up an instrument, experimenting with sounds, playing with others, performing something, or just coming by to see what happens. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been making music for a long time, just play for yourself at home, or have always thought that stages are more for other people.

It’s not about being “ready” or particularly good. It’s about trying things out, making yourself heard, and claiming the space you don’t have to earn. And just as important: You don’t have to play at all to belong. Maybe you just want to arrive, get to know people, have conversations, or simply be in an atmosphere where you don’t have to explain why spaces like this are important. Maybe this evening is, for now, a place for you to connect. That, too, is taking up space.

Amps, drums, and instruments are provided. So you don’t need to bring anything except yourself—and maybe a little curiosity. No registration required, and no hurdle higher than stepping through the door.

Come by if you want to play. Come by if you just want to check it out for now. Come by if you want to meet people who are going through similar experiences, have similar questions, or just feel like spending an evening together. The stage and the space aren’t just there to be looked at. They’re there to be entered, used, and filled with life.
