FLINTA* Voices is a space especially for FLINTA* people (women, lesbians, inter, non-binary, trans & agender people). In a society that often ignores our voices, we want to consciously take up space by singing and improvising together Without pressure and expectations, but with joy and ease, we can find and strengthen our own forms of expression here. In a supportive environment, you will have the opportunity to try out your singing 🎶

About the speakers: Dilay Yaman and Sarah Tsehaye will lead this session with the aim of giving FLINTA* voices space and resonance. Dilay will focus on singing together, while Sarah will focus on improvisation. Sarah found vocal improv to experience musical freedom and offers a space without "right" or "wrong". Dilay has learned/acquired her musical training in various choirs and leads the way to finding and strengthening your own voice.

The workshop, organized by Coach e.V., takes place as part of the project "Reflecting Intersections - meeting and exchange spaces with workshops and cultural programme" and is funded by the Ministry of Culture and Science of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia, the State Coordination Office against Right-Wing Extremism and Racism through the NRWeltoffen state programme and the City of Cologne.
