It’s already a time-honored tradition at the Pantheon in December: political satirist Florian Schroeder—a passionate news junkie and Hegel expert—engages in a discussion with satirical politician Peer Steinbrück, an equally passionate “almost-chancellor” and now the Republic’s wisest elder statesman.

Two white men of different ages embark on a mental journey around the world, asking themselves many big questions and offering quite a few tentative answers. In doing so, they not only take a critical look at top political figures but also hold citizens accountable—those who, through their voting decisions and their actions, can help shape both the present and the future of this country.
