In the organizer's words:
fluppe play post-punk with attitude, intensity, and a healthy dose of skepticism toward the status quo. The Hamburg-based quartet combines the energy of bands like IDLES, shame, and Protomartyr with a knack for catchy melodies and shoegaze moments. Sometimes raw and direct, sometimes surprisingly poetic, they create songs full of tension, intensity, and atmosphere. Or, to put it in terms of their band name: fluppe are the stem left lying in the front yard and the bird droppings on the Volkswagen—uncomfortable, headstrong, and anything but polished.
