Artificial intelligence (AI) is increasingly finding its way into our everyday lives and is also opening up new possibilities in medicine. Radiology, as a discipline of medical imaging, is considered a pioneer and trailblazer for the application of AI in medicine. This lecture by Prof. Julian Caspers (Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf & University Hospital Düsseldorf) explains the potential of AI in the analysis of medical image data, how it can already support radiologists today and what future prospects this technology offers for medical care.
