In the organizer's words:
Expeditions to the polar regions: Dr. Ellen Oldenburg and Dr. Ovidiu Popa from Heinrich Heine University took part in Arctic expeditions with the research icebreaker Polarstern in 2022 and 2024 to investigate the effects of climate change on site. The exhibition uses numerous photographs to provide insights into polar research at HHU - from the 1990s to the present day. The exhibition can be visited during the regular opening hours of the building (Mon-Fri, 10am-6pm).
