Fringify – Independent Arts Festival Hamburg: »VOICES«

"VOICES" is a choral polyphonic work that splits the monolithic idea of national anthems into infinity and takes a look at them from a cosmic perspective. With 20 singers from Hamburg, alternative and personal anthems are created in many voices, which are sung a capella simultaneously and layered on top of each other. The audience can move freely through this labyrinth of voices.

"VOICES" is part of the performance series "How to Listen to Monuments and What to Listen to when Everything is Meeting?", in which Daniel Dominguez Teruel explores questions of (national) belonging, division and community in a musical and performative way.
