Fritzi*s Funky Hour

In the organizer's words:

On July 17, the kiosk will reopen for Fritzi*s Funky Hour.

It’s a great place to catch up with friends or meet new people. Since our kiosk is located close to fi, we’re happy to serve as a pre-party spot again before the night gets going.

We’ll be serving refreshing drinks—both alcoholic and non-alcoholic—as well as delicious vegan Hempies snacks, so you can really relax or dance outside to some great music. Free admission is available, and a restroom is also available.

Lineup

@Draw I 8:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Draw is part of the Mogol Soundsystem Crew from Wuppertal, known for DIY parties and underground bass sounds.
Their sound is heavily influenced by hip-hop and dubstep. Breakbeats, garage, and leftfield sounds are seamlessly mixed and constantly surprise the audience. // afraid of the comfort zone

@Sweet Angel I 10:00 PM – 11:30 PM
A wild mix—that’s Sweet Angel’s sound. She finds her sweet spot in the space between hip-hop and house. There, she likes to throw in an unexpected edit, incorporating genres like UK garage, baile funk, or footwork. The reactions on the dance floor are just as mixed: loud sing-alongs and stank faces, laid-back vibes, and booty shaking.

@dj groschen I 11:30 PM – 1:00 AM
A little proggy, a little groovy, a little trancy. Somewhere between hardgroove, house, and bounce. Rarely slower than 140 bpm, always danceable.

To keep the event accessible to everyone, we’re not charging an entrance fee. Instead, there will be a donation jar on-site for the DJs—any small token of appreciation for their effort and passion is warmly welcome.

🪪 Note: Only card payments are accepted at the kiosk; donations must be made in cash

🌈 Together, we want to create a space where everyone feels safe and welcome. That’s why we ask for mindfulness and respect—there’s no place for sexism, racism, queerphobia, or ableism.

♿️ Hempies is accessible at ground level. Please note, however, that the restrooms are unfortunately not wheelchair-accessible. If you have any questions about other accessibility issues (e.g., noise levels, seating, allergies), please feel free to contact us at freiraum@hempies-vegan.de
